A name puzzle is one of those rare baby gifts that doesn't get outgrown in a week. It's sturdy enough for little hands, beautiful enough to live on a shelf long after they've outgrown it, and personal enough that no two are ever quite the same — because no two names are. It's been one of our most-gifted pieces since 2015.
How It's Made
Every puzzle is handcrafted the proper way — never mass-produced, never outsourced. Each one starts with a 3mm eco bamboo top, layered acrylic letters, and a solid MDF base, cut, layered, and finished by hand in our Southland studio. The height stays a consistent 95mm across the whole range; the length simply scales with however many letters are in the name.
Choosing Your Colours
This is where a name puzzle becomes genuinely one-of-a-kind. Once you've settled on the name, you'll choose:
1. Your bamboo shade
Light or dark bamboo forms the base and top of the puzzle — the foundation tone that everything else sits against.
2. Your acrylic letter colours
This is where you can really go to town — mix and match colours and glitters letter by letter, or keep it uniform across the whole name. It's entirely up to you.
Because the colour and glitter combination is chosen letter by letter, every single puzzle we make ends up genuinely unique. Two families ordering the same name will still end up with two completely different pieces.

One name per puzzle, and we're not able to accommodate hyphenated names. The style and font shown are fixed and can't be changed — simply pop the name into the personalisation field when ordering.
